Telangana Excise Invites Applications To Set Up 41 New 2B Bars

The 2B license specifically designates bars and restaurants to sell Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), foreign liquor, and beer under the Department regulations. 

A notification inviting applications for



setting up 41 new 2B bars in the state was issued by the Department on Tuesday. According to the notification, interested applicants can submit their applications from September 28 to October 12. Officials stated that an application fee of Rs. 1 lakh has been fixed per application. 

Apart from this fee, excise department rules regarding license grant, bar excise tax, and other aspects will apply.
