Telangana DCA Seizes Spurious Levipil 500 Tablets

Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) seized spurious drug ‘Levipil 500’ tablets (Levetiracetam Tablets 500 mg), falsely claimed to be manufactured by a particular pharma companny. 

During the raid conducted by the DCA based on gathered intelligence, a counterfeit



version of ‘Levipil 500’ tablets was detected circulating in the market at Chintal in Quthbullapur.

Counterfeit drugs were seized at Durga Medical and General Stores in Chintal. Levipil 500 tablet is an anti-epileptic medicine used to treat fits, according to a statement.
