Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has emphasised that a strong message of supporting the Indian Army by the entire nation should be rolled out. Reviewing the situation at a high-level meeting in Hyderabad, he said, there is no place for politics, and parties should maintain restraint in difficult times.
He asked the authorities concerned to cancel leaves of the employees of all departments who engage in the emergency services and asked the Ministers and all officials to be available and cancel all foreign trips.
The police have been asked to detain Pakistani and Bangladeshi nationals who are residing
illegally. The officials in civil supplies, health and other emergency services have been directed to be ready for emergency needs.
All the departments have been asked to work in complete coordination and ensure that people do not face any problems. Special security measures will be taken at all Army and Navy offices, and security will also be enhanced at all defence establishments, foreign consulates and embassies, and the international airport in Hyderabad.
