Telangana CEO directs BLOs not to seek physical SIR forms from online applicants

The BLOs have been asked not to insist on the submission of physical enumeration forms from voters who completed the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process online.

Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, C Sudarshan Reddy, issued an official communication on July 7 following reports that BLOs were insisting on physical enumeration forms



despite electors having submitted their enumeration form online.

However, even after specific instructions, a few BLOs continued to collect physical enumeration forms in some polling stations. A BLO said, “We are not demanding the forms but accepting them, in case any doubts arise in the enumeration forms during the draft electoral rolls.”
