The Telangana Cabinet will meet on Thursday to discuss key issues, including preparations for the upcoming Invest Telangana Global Summit–2026. Though the Cabinet is scheduled to discuss various other issues including certain draft bills, the prevailing drought condition, water and power crisis reportedly took a backseat.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will chair the official Cabinet
meeting at the Secretariat at 4 pm, preceded by an informal meeting with Ministers at 3 pm. The informal session will focus primarily on arrangements for the investment summit, according to the government order issued on Wednesday.
The prominence given to the summit comes amid concerns over the drought and its impact on agriculture and rural livelihoods, apart from drinking water supply.
