Telangana Cabinet meet to be held today

Telangana state Cabinet will be meeting this afternoon to take key decisions relating to lockdown and relaxations in the green zone districts. The cabinet also likely to take decisions over continuation of lockdown in the districts where COVID-19 intensity is more.

 

Meanwhile, at a high-level meeting held by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao last evening, the Medical and Health officials have



submitted a report informing that there is a need for further tightening lockdown in Hyderabad and neighbouring Ranga Reddy, Medchal, and Vikarabad districts due to prevalence of more cases and also deaths. 

Today’s cabinet meeting is likely to discuss all these issues including sending migrant workers to their respective states.
