The State budget session will be held from March 16 to 30 this year, commencing with Governor Jishnu Dev Varma’s address in the Assembly on March 16.

This will be followed by the Motion of Thanks on the Governor’s speech on March 17 and 18. As Ugadi falls on March 19, Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti



Vikramarka is likely to present the annual budget on March 20. However, Ramzan is expected to be celebrated on the same day. As per the Telangana Government general holidays list, Ramzan is scheduled on March 21.

Decisions to this effect were taken at the Cabinet meeting held on Monday.
