The political face-off over Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi's challenge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for an open debate escalated on Wednesday, with Telangana BJP president N Ramchander Rao accusing Gandhi of avoiding Parliament while seeking to debate on the street.
Speaking to Media, Rao said Gandhi never attends Parliament or wants to discuss issues there, and asked whether the LoP was
afraid to face the House."Rahul Gandhi, being the LoP, never attends Parliament and never wants to discuss any issue in the Parliament.
At Hyderabad, Amit Shah challenged Rahul Gandhi to come on the floor of the Parliament and discuss about SIR and the allegations which he is making. But he doesn't want to come into Parliament. And now he's challenging PM Modi... This is something absurd," Rao said.
