Continuing crackdown against the tainted government officials, the sleuths of Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) are carrying out raids at a dozen places belonging to the Land and Survey department deputy director S Narahari in connection with a disproportionate assets (DA) case.
They are conducting raids at Narahari’s house and other places including Chatrinaka in Old City and Narayanguda as the ACB
was flooded with complaints related to his activities. The raids are expected to continue till evening. A few days ago, the ACB registered a DA case against Mohan Naik Jarupla, Engineer in Chief, Roads and Buildings, for allegedly acquiring assets by indulging in corrupt practices and dubious means during his service. During the raids, the ACB detected assets worth Rs.17.94 crore and arrested Naik, who is now in judicial remand.
