Techie allegedly murdered by former husband in Vanasthalipuram

A 30-year-old software professional was brutally murdered, allegedly by her former husband, in Vanasthalipuram on Wednesday, sending shockwaves through the surroundings.

The incident took place in Green City Colony under Vanasthalipuram police station limits. The victim has been identified as Sunitha (30), who was working in the



IT sector and the suspect, Mahesh, is her former husband.

According to a preliminary investigation, Mahesh allegedly entered Sunitha’s house armed with two knives and a can of petrol. He reportedly attacked her with the knives and later smashed a flower pot on her head, resulting in grievous injuries and killing her on the spot.
