Tax payment with old notes till Nov 24

Chief Secretary Rajeev Sharma on Wednesday has asked the people to pay their dues to the government with demonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes till November 24. Those paying their commercial taxes, registration fee, water dues, and power bills can utilise this opportunity.

Chief Secretary said officials concerned were all given instructions to accept the demonetised notes. Rajeev Sharma also stated that all the district Collectors were asked to ensure the implementation of this exemption forthwith and create awareness among the general public.
