Survey Of Lands Around KCR's Farmhouse Continues For 2nd Day

The survey by the Revenue and Land Department officials continued for the second day to ascertain the alleged possession of 388 acres of government land in Survey No. 325 by BRS supremo and former Telangana chief minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) in Erravalli in Sangareddy district. 

The exercise, which will be conducted for another two weeks, was taken up following Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s announcement in the Assembly



recently that he would reclaim 388 acres allegedly encroached upon by KCR and distribute the land to poor Dalit families.

The survey team led by Revenue Divisional Officer K Chandrakala, Land Survey Department Assistant Director R. Sudarshan, and revenue inspectors has commenced work since Thursday. 

A satellite survey is being conducted to determine how much government land exists within that survey number.
