Students fall ill after consuming stale curd in Nagarkurnool

A few students of the Mahatma Jyothibha Phule Girls Residential School at Uyyalawada fell ill after consuming dinner on Friday night.

Following complaints of stomach ache and vomiting, the school staff immediately shifted the affected students to the Government General Hospital in the



district.

Upon learning about the incident, parents rushed to the hospital and enquired about the health status of their children. The condition of the students is said to be stable.

Preliminary reports indicated that the students took ill after consuming stale curd served during dinner, according to officials.
