The Osmania University police registered a case against two groups of students following a clash during the ‘Palestine Solidarity March’, taken out at English and Foreign Languages University at Tarnaka on Tuesday night.

According to the police, at around 10 pm, two groups of students were raising slogans that were causing a disturbance on the EFLU campus. While one group was raising



slogans in support of Palestine and India’s neutral stand on the ongoing issue in Palestine. The other group was raising slogans in support of India.

“Both groups were shouting slogans and waving flags. The police tried to calm them down but for over one hour they continued to create nuisance. Additional forces were mobilised and managed to defuse the situation,” said Osmania University police.
