Student Found Dead With Injuries In Bhadradri Kothagudem Dist

An 18-year-old nursing student was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Vengannapalem village in Julurupadu mandal of Bhadradri-Kothagudem district on Tuesday night. 

The deceased was identified as Harini, a first-year BSc Nursing student at a college in Khammam. Harini had returned to her native village two days ago due to college holidays. She was alone at home after her mother, Rajeshwari, went to a relative’s house.

When Rajeshwari returned home late on Tuesday night, she could not find Harini. With the help of villagers, she



searched the house and found her daughter’s body behind the bathroom. 

The injuries found on Harini’s body raised suspicions about the circumstances surrounding her death. Rajeshwari expressed suspicion over a person living in a neighbouring house and sought an investigation into her daughter’s death. 

Rajeshwari has been living with her two daughters since her husband died a few years ago. Harini was her elder daughter. On receiving the information, Julurupadu police reached the spot and launched an investigation. Further details are awaited.
