Stores selling unstamped meat booked, fined in Hyderabad

The GHMC on Saturday inspected stores selling chicken, meat and fish in Charminar, Rajendra Nagar, Karwan and Kukatpally. Establishments without a trade licence and those selling unstamped meat were penalised. Action was also taken against



unhygienic shops, especially those that exposed meat to flies. 

Cases have been booked under the GHMC act, and a penalty of Rs 24,000 was imposed. Nearly, 30 kg of beef and 8 kg of goat meat was seized during the drive.
