Special Buses to Operate on Raksha Bandhan by TGSRTC

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has made special arrangements to ensure that passengers do not face travel inconvenience during Raksha Bandhan festival.

As in previous 2024 year, special buses will be operated until August 11 to handle the festive rush. TGSRTC officials said, as per the Telangana government’s order, ticket fares in special buses alone have been revised by up to 1.50



times.

“Regular buses will continue to charge the usual fares. Display boards will be placed at the front of special buses for passengers’ information, ” TGSRTC said in a statement.

TGSRTC stated that it operates special services during major festivals to provide safe and convenient travel. For return journeys, buses from routes with low passenger traffic will be quickly redeployed to busy routes.
