As many as 13 devotees suffered minor injuries and two grievous injuries when a shed made of bamboo mats for devotees who tonsure their heads (Keshakandanam) collapsed and fell on them at the famous Kondagattu Hanuman temple in Jagtial district on Wednesday. 

It is said that a major incident was averted as devotees were alert, and it is reported that electric wires were snapped when



the shed collapsed.

Hundreds of devotees thronged the temple to have darshan of Lord Sri Hanuman on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. 

It is learnt that two devotees of Bellampalli from Mancherial district suffered severe injuries in the shed collapse and were shifted to Jagtial government hospital for treatment, where they were undergoing treatment.
