She Teams deployed in Hyderabad for women’s safety 'Ganesh Festival'

As the city is indulged in Ganesh festivities, the Hyderabad City Police’s She Teams have launched special measures to ensure the safety and security of devotees, particularly women at pandals, immersion processions, and other crowded places.

Carrying the message “Celebrate with Devotion, Not with Wrong Intention,” the She Teams will maintain



round-the-clock vigilance.

“Officers in mufti, supported by CCTV surveillance, will be stationed at key junctions and immersion routes to keep a close watch on gatherings”, said Dr Lavanya BJP, DCP, Women Safety Wing.

Police have warned of strict action against anyone found involved in eve-teasing, stalking, misbehavior, or harassment.
