She Teams book 37 cases

Hyderabad: The Rachakonda SHE Teams booked 37 cases (21 petty cases and 16 FIRs) against eve teasers and apprehended 38 of them including three minors in the last four weeks. The eve-teasers attended the counselling session conducted by the Rachakonda She teams at the Police Commissioner’s camp office At TTI Nagole, LB Nagar here along with their family members on Saturday.

In addition, 26 eve teasers were caught in SHE Teams decoy operations after receiving complaints through Whatsapp from different areas in Rachakonda Commissionerate about



teasing girls at different junctions, bus stops, offices and colleges.

Following instructions from Rachakonda Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat, the teams were approaching women from interior villages and thandas and workplaces like ‘Upaadi Haami Pathakam’, construction sites, handloom places and malls to educate them about the safety aspects.
