Serial burglar injured in police firing on Hyderabad’s ORR

A suspected serial burglar wanted in multiple theft and robbery cases across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh was injured in police firing and arrested during a late-night operation on the Outer Ring Road on Tuesday night.

According to information available, a special team from the Nalgonda CCS (Central Crime Station) police travelled to Hyderabad after receiving inputs that the accused, identified as Bhushan Srikanth of Andhra



Pradesh, was hiding in the city.

The police intercepted him near ORR Exit No. 12 at Bonguluru, close to Adibatla.

It is said that the suspect allegedly attempted to flee while being taken into custody, prompting the police to open fire at his legs to prevent his escape. He suffered injuries and was shifted to a nearby private hospital in Vanasthalipuram for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
