The customer then tried to reach out to the customer care centre of the company and searched for a contact number on the



internet. “The victim noted a number found on the internet and contacted someone who took the call for help.

However, the conman duped and made away with Rs 1.40 lakh from the bank account,” said the Cybercrime police.

Police have registerd a case and investigation is under process.
