Security alert: Road closures in effect in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: Keeping in view the security alert issued ahead of the Republic Day celebrations, road closures will be in effect in the Secunderabad area.

According to a press release issued by the Defence wing here, the alert level has been enhanced across the country in view of the security situation prevailing with the Republic Day celebrations.

Military establishments are in the target list of anti-national elements. Keeping in view the enhanced security alert, road closure for



Bolarum in military establishment will be effective from 10 pm on January 24 to 6 pm of January 27. The Trimulgherry military establishment will also have road closure during night from 10 pm to 6 am for Gough road, Wellington road, AOC road and Entrenchment road,” the release said.

Ambulances or emergency medical cases will however be permitted with proper check and verification, the release said, requesting the citizens to cooperate with military authorities for maintenance for high security alert.
