Secunderabad man booked for posting obscene photos of wife on Insta

A man was booked for allegedly harassing his wife, just three months into their marriage, by posting obscene photos of her on Instagram in Ramgopalpet.

As per available information, the suspect from Secunderabad and the woman had married against the wishes of their elders about three months ago. Police said the suspect, who is addicted to alcohol, began harassing his



wife and grew suspicious of her.

He then posted obscene photos and abusive comments directed at her on Instagram. Distressed by this, the young woman recently attempted to die by suicide. She was rescued and hospitalised and is currently recovering.

Based on the victim’s complaint, the Ramgopalpet police booked a case and are investigating.
