Secunderabad Cantonment MLA boycotts board meeting

Secunderabad Cantonment Congress MLA N Sri Ganesh on Wednesday boycotted a general board meeting of the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB), demanding the Central government conduct SCB elections.

He boycotted the meeting soon after the oath-taking ceremony



of SCB civilian nominated member (BJP) Bhanuka Narmada, held for extending a second term which started on February 15. 

He cited the Central government extending the nominated member’s tenure instead of conducting Cantonment Board elections as the reason.
