A large quantity of scrap was gutted in a fire at Dubbak town, Siddipet on Friday after a suspected short circuit triggered the blaze.
Scrap worth nearly Rs.15 lakh and two two-wheelers were destroyed in the
incident.
On receiving information, a fire tender reached the spot and brought the flames under control after two hours of effort.
The owner of the scrap shop appealed to the government for financial support, stating that he had suffered heavy losses.
