SCR wins four National Energy Conservation Awards 2025

The South Central Railway (SCR) has bagged four National Energy Conservation Awards–2025, highlighting its outstanding performance in energy efficiency and sustainable practices.

The awards were presented by President Draupadi Murmu at an event held in New Delhi on December 14.

Kumar Srivastava received the Best Performing Unit award for the Diesel Traction Training Centre (DTTC) and Hostel, Guntakal, in the Government Buildings (Open Category).

In the Transport Category (Railway Stations Sector), Raichur, Kacheguda and Lingampalli railway stations were awarded Certificates of Merit for exemplary energy management.
