SCR to run special MMTS trains for Ganesh idol immersion rush

The South Central Railway (SCR) will operate special MMTS train services during September 25-26 and September 26-27 to handle the additional passenger rush expected during Ganesh idol immersion.

The special services will operate between 11 pm and 5 am, covering key routes connecting Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Lingampalli and Falaknuma. The railway has introduced additional services to facilitate the movement of passengers during the late night immersion



festivities.

The services include a Secunderabad-Hyderabad MMTS at 11.50 pm, followed by a Hyderabad-Lingampalli service at 12.30 am and a Lingampalli-Hyderabad train at 1.50 am. A Hyderabad-Secunderabad service will depart at 3.30 am.

On the other route, a Hyderabad-Lingampalli special will leave at 11.10 pm, followed by services from Lingampalli to Falaknuma at 12.10 am and Falaknuma to Secunderabad at 2.20 am. Another Secunderabad-Hyderabad service will depart at 4 am.
