SCR to run 18 special trains in July

South Central Railway (SCR) will roll out as many as 18 special trains, from Lingampalli to Kakinada Town and Visakhapatnam.

Railway authorities slotted 10 trains between Lingampalli and Kakinada Town as they are trying to decongest the three main terminals i.e., Secunderabad, Kacheguda and Hydebabad. But this service



will also be available from Secunderabad station. The special train will be available every Sunday from next month. Eight special services from Lingampali to Visakhapatnam will be available on Fridays.

Meanwhile, Piyush Goyal, railway minister, will launch a host of facilities at an event in Secunderabad station on June 15.
