SCR Responds To Woman Assault Video At Hafizpet Railway Station

The South Central Railway (SCR) on Saturday responded to a video showing a police personnel assaulting and dragging a woman by her hair at Hafizpet Railway Station on Friday.

The SCR said the incident was enquired into and the personnel involved was identified as a Telangana State Police Home Guard who was deputed for duty at Hafizpet Railway Station and he was repatriated to



Telangana state police department for necessary disciplinary action.

In the video, the police personnel can be seen assaulting the woman and dragging her by her hair. A man is also seen pleading with the personnel during the incident. 

The video has drawn attention on social media, following which the South Central Railway issued a response on X.
