School timings changed in Adilabad due to severe cold

Timings of primary and upper primary schools belonging to both government and private managements were changed following cold weather conditions in the district. 

An order to this effect was issued by Collector Rajarshi Shah on Thursday.

According to the order, the schools will



remain functional from 9.40 am to 4.30 pm instead of 9 am to 4 am due to the cold weather to ensure safety and wellbeing of students. 

All schools including private ones were instructed to follow the timings with immediate effect until further orders. Non-compliance of the instructions will be viewed seriously.
