School student dies by suicide in Kothagudem

A sixth-grade student allegedly died by suicide at Vengal Rao Colony at Paloncha in the district on Wednesday.

According to police, the deceased boy Bhukya Mahender (12) was studying at DAV School at KTPS residential quarters complex.

He was said to have hanged himself from a



ceiling fan at his residence during late evening hours after being admonished by his parents for quarrelling with his friends.

His parents noticed him hanging from the ceiling fan after a long time and immediately took the boy to the local Government Hospital. The doctors who examined the boy declared him dead.
