Revenue officials on Monday, June 22, demolished the building of The Bambini Creek school in Narsingi after it was found to have been allegedly constructed illegally on nearly one acre of government land in the Musi river floodplain.

The school, located in Manchirevula village in Gandipet mandal, Ranga Reddy district, was found to be operating in violation of land use regulations, officials

said.

However, the school’s founder, Umme Salma, contested the manner in which the action was carried out. She said the notice was served at 10 pm on Friday, and the demolition was carried out early Monday morning.

“The notice was not served at a proper time and was not handed over to me either. My parents, my teachers and children are waiting to come here,” she told the media.
