School bus emits smoke in Secunderabad, students safe

A school bus carrying 25 students emitted smoke from its engine at the AoC centre in Secunderabad Cantonment on Thursday around 8 a m, causing mild tension.

The incident occurred as the bus was proceeding towards Mahendra Hills in the



Cantonment.

The bus driver noticed thick smoke emanating from the engine and quickly opened the bus doors to ensure the students’ safety. 

Army personnel on duty promptly used fire extinguishers to douse the smoke, while commuters passing through the area assisted the children.
