The Chief General Manager of State Bank of India (SBI), Hyderabad Circle, OP Mishra on Monday said that due to coronavirus threat, essential and basic banking services will be provided with minimum number of staff at all the SBI branches.

The CGM of SBI Hyderabad circle has also made an appeal to all its customers to minimise their visit to the branches.

As per guidelines, bank will deliver basic services like cash deposits, withdrawal, remittances, clearing of cheques and



government transactions in its branches from March 23 onwards till further notification.

Mishra also advised customers to use the digital and alternative channels like internet banking, YONO and ATM services to minimise the need for customers to visit branches as most of the services are available on these platforms.

In view of the lock down announced by State government, he requested customers to cooperate with bank staff.
