With the mercury continuing to plummet, several parts of the State have started to experience chilly weather conditions in the last couple of days. Forecasts suggest night temperatures may fall further in next few days.
The IMD-Hyderabad has looked at cold wave conditions likely to prevail at isolated pockets in the districts of Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Sangareddy and Medak.
With dry weather prevailing over the State, minimum temperatures are likely to be below normal by 3 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius at Isolated pockets over Telangana during next two to three days.
On Thursday night, the temperatures dropped to single digit in almost ten districts with Sangareddy shivering at 7.8 degrees Celsius, according to data generated by the
Telangana Development Planning Society.
The other districts that reeled under the plummeting temperatures included Kumram Bheem Asifabad (8.3 degrees Celsius), Vikarabad (8.7 degrees Celsius), Ranga Reddy (8.8 degrees Celsius), Medak (9 degrees Celsius), Rajanna Sircilla (9.1 degrees Celsius), Adilabad (9.3 degrees Celsius), Kamareddy (9.4 degrees Celsius), Nizamabad (9.4 degrees Celsius) and Siddipet ((9.7 degrees Celsius).
Hyderabad forecast
Meanwhile, for Hyderabad city and neighbourhood, the IMD-Hyderabad forecast suggested a partly cloudy sky with mist/hazy conditions during morning and night hours.
Minimum temperatures here are likely to be below normal by 3 degrees Celsius to 4 degrees Celsius during next two to three days.
