Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsav Samithi (BGUS) extended special thanks to the Backward Classes Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar for exemplary leadership in coordinating various government departments and extending outstanding cooperation to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the 47th Samuhikh Ganesh Utsav celebrations in Bhagyanagar and entire State this year.

While the festivities were celebrated with great religious fervour across the state, it is deeply agonizing that several unfortunate accidents occurred during the

celebrations, resulting in the loss of precious human lives and severe injuries to many devotees, said Samithi General Secretary Dr. Ravinuthala Shashidhar here on Saturday.

“In light of these tragic events, we earnestly appeal to the Telangana government to kindly consider our requests on humanitarian grounds,” he said, urging to provide comprehensive financial assistance and all necessary support from the government to the families of those who lost their lives in various festival-related accidents across the state.
