Salar Jung Museum in collaboration with Re-Reeti foundation is introducing Spotlight Tours, a free guided tour offered every Saturday and Sunday in one-hour and two-hour formats.
These curated experiences transform a traditional museum visit into an engaging journey of dialogue, discovery, and meaningful connection with objects, the press release said.
Each tour highlights carefully selected artefacts, inviting visitors to slow down, observe closely, and explore the stories, craftsmanship, and cultural
significance behind them.
The tours are guided by two educational approaches – the Live Museum Framework, which encourages dialogue, cultural exchange, and shared perspectives, and Object-Based Learning (OBL), which uses artefacts as starting points for inquiry, observation, and critical thinking.
Through these free Spotlight Tours, the museum aims to create an engaging, inclusive, and interactive learning experience where visitors connect more deeply with objects, ideas, and one another.
