Ahead of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi's (BRS) Yuva Sangrama Sabha, former minister and BRS Deputy Floor Leader Sabitha Indra Reddy and former IPS officer and BRS leader R.S. Praveen Kumar were reportedly placed under house arrest on Saturday.

The party termed the action unconstitutional, stating that the public meeting had already received permission from both the Telangana High Court and the

police.

The leaders condemned the move, alleging that it was arbitrary and undemocratic. They questioned the need for house arrests despite the High Court granting permission for the event.

The BRS is holding its Yuva Sangrama Sabha at Saroornagar Stadium on Saturday. The party expects around 10,000 people to attend and plans to conclude the meeting by 1 p.m.
