Educational Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy on Friday stressed the importance of Intermediate exams and the government’s resolve to conduct the exams in a flawless manner.

Reviewing the arrangements of Intermediate Public Examinations March 2020 with Collectors and Superintendents of Police, the Minister urged Collectors to coordinate with various departments including police, postal, education, revenue, RTC, BSNl, TSSPDCL, health and ensure there was no hitch whatsoever.

“Board of Intermediate has made all the arrangements for conduct of exams and it is the Collectors who have to ensure the process and procedures are implemented properly,” she said.

Sabitha urged students to concentrate on the exams and not worry about anything else and



reassured that all efforts for conducting exams in an efficient manner were made.

Chitra Ramachandran, Special Chief Secretary, Education advised the Collectors to submit the status report in the form of checklist by February 20 showing the preparedness of the district administration for conducting the exams.

She asked the Police Department to extend all support for the safe keeping of the question papers and also providing escort for the movement of the question papers and answer sheet bundles.

She urged the Collectors to hold the review meeting with all departments concerned and added, “Inspection of exam centres should be done beforehand to assess the needs and provide all basic amenities for the students.”
