RTC sets up EV charging stations at two depots in Hyderabad

As part of its efforts to expand the electric bus network across the Hyderabad region, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) has initiated steps to establish electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its Ibrahimpatnam and Midhani bus depots.

The RTC authorities are learnt to have already made the required



payments to the electricity distribution authorities for providing the necessary power infrastructure, including high-voltage connections, dedicated transformers and substations. 

The RTC is gradually increasing its fleet of electric buses with a focus on reducing emissions and promoting environmentally friendly public transport.
