The TSRTC employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) announced a series of protests for the next six days. JAC convenor Ashwathama Reddy said the employees along with their families will stage a sit-in in front of depots on Monday.

With bus services being operated since the strike commenced on October 5, RTC JAC decided to appeal to the temporary conductors and drivers to stop working as a means to achieve their demands, on October 22. 

There will be an all-party



meeting on October 23 and a protest by women conductors in front of depots on October 24. According to JAC leaders, they will block roads and highways on October 25. The employees also plan to rope in their children for a protest on October 26. JAC decided to hold a massive public meeting, ‘Sakala Janula Samarabheri Sabha’, on October 30.

Meanwhile, the strike did not have much impact on Sunday with authorities managing to operate skeletal services.
