RTA services go offline after short circuit hits server

All the 56 online services of the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) came to halt across the State on Monday due to a short circuit in the central server at its head office in Khairatabad.

With this, thousands of applicants were forced to wait at various RTA

offices in the city particularly at Khairatabad, Uppal, Medchal and Mehdipatnam.

According to RTA officials, the incident took place at around 11.30 pm on Sunday and efforts were on to restore the services.
