The State government has released Rs 7,135.77 crore under the Rythu Bharosa scheme for the Vanakalam 2026 season, benefiting 67.44 lakh farmers across 118.93 lakh acres as of July 4. 

The assistance was disbursed in phases over five days, covering farmers with landholdings from up to 1 acre to up to 6 acres. 

On



June 30, farmers with up to 2 acres received the first tranche, followed by those with up to 3 acres on July 1, up to 4 acres on July 2, up to 5 acres on July 3, and up to 6 acres on July 4. 

Officials said the phased release ensured timely financial support to help farmers meet input costs during the ongoing Vanakalam season.
