RPF steps up security across Secunderabad Division stations

With passenger movement peaking during the festive season, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of Secunderabad Division has intensified security measures to ensure safe and smooth travel across the network.

More than 250 RPF personnel are being deployed every day at major stations and on crowded trains, particularly those heading towards Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Chennai



and other high-demand routes.

To manage the heavy footfall, RPF teams have been positioned at platforms, FoBs and station entry and exit points, with special focus on crowd and queue management. 

Traffic outside railway stations has also been regulated by creating separate lanes for autos and other vehicles to ease congestion during peak hours.
