Under Operation NARCOS, the Railway Protection Force (RPF), Secunderabad Division, has intensified its crackdown on narcotics smuggling through railways, seizing a variety of drugs worth Rs 5.79 crore, so far this year.

According to RPF officials, the special drive has resulted in the arrest of 107 persons in 88 separate incidents



across the division. The contraband and arrested drug peddlers have been handed over to the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) and other law enforcement agencies for further legal action.

Divisional Security Commissioner, Secunderabad, Alakunta Naveen Kumar, said the seizures reflect a major leap in enforcement activity compared to last year.
