RPF Constable saved life of woman at Secunderabad Railway Station

A timely and courageous act by Railway Protection Force (RPF) Constable Sanjay Kumar saved the life of a woman passenger at Secunderabad Railway Station.

The incident occurred on Wednesday when one M Sarad (52), a native of Srikakulam district, slipped while attempting to board the moving Secunderabad–Srikakulam Road (Train



No.17016) and was about to fall on the platform.

Constable Sanjay Kumar of 3BN/RPSF, Lucknow (‘C’ Coy), deployed for train-passing duty, noticed the passenger losing balance near the footboard. Displaying alertness and presence of mind, he rushed forward and pulled her away from the moving train, averting a certain tragedy.
