Robbers fire at man and snatch cash bag containing Rs 6 lakh in Koti

A businessman suffered bullet wounds at Koti when an unidentified assailants shot at him and snatched away Rs 6 lakh from him early on Saturday.

The victim Rasheed had come to deposit cash at an ATM centre in Koti when the offenders threatened and tried to snatch away the bag.

Rasheed resisted, the miscreants shot at him. The man suffered a bullet wound and collapsed. The offenders snatched away the cash and escaped from there.

On information the police reached the spot and shifted Rasheed to hospital. The police teams have launched a manhunt for the robbers. Further details awaited.
