Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will grace the Olympic Day Run, organised by the Telangana Olympic Association, at LB Stadium here on June 23 (Monday) at 9:00 a.m.
In Hyderabad district, the run will commence at 7:00 a.m. on June 23 from 15 different locations across Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts.
Each centre will see the participation of nearly 300 athletes, with an Olympian from Telangana leading each contingent while carrying the Olympic Torch.
All contingents will converge at the Lawn Tennis Complex, LB Stadium, Hyderabad, for the grand
valedictory ceremony of the 39th Olympic Day Run at 9:00 a.m.
Apart from the Chief Minister, other dignitaries attending the event include Telangana Sports Minister Vakati Srihari, A P Jitender Reddy (Advisor to the State Government, Sports), Shiva Sena Reddy (SATG Chairman), and Mrs Sonibala Devi (VC & MD, SATG).
The event will also witness the presence of Olympians, awardees, and several other distinguished dignitaries.
Reflecting the Olympic spirit of “Faster, Higher, Stronger – Together”, the run symbolises unity, fitness, and sporting excellence.
