Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy directed the officials to plan groundbreaking ceremonies for various industries at the Future City Industrial Park, in June. He wanted them to ensure that allotted industries begin construction immediately after receiving land.
During a meeting on the Industries department at the MCRHRD Institute on Wednesday, he reviewed land allocation and development plans for the proposed Bharat Future City project. Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao and other senior officials attended the meeting.
He wanted the officials to strengthen the dedicated Invest Telangana cell, complete with a fresh logo, website and exclusive office in Future City, to attract investments to the State.Regional Business Directory
Revanth Reddy said Bharat Future City
must follow a Net Zero City model with international-standard infrastructure, and instructed that trunk infrastructure be completed before land allotments are made. He asked officials to study urban development models globally and examine industrial policies of Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.
He suggested appointment of senior officers of Group-1 rank as Escort Officers to coordinate with investors. He wanted all government offices to be connected to T-Fiber within three months. He asked the officials to initiate land acquisition for the proposed Bullet Train project and pursue the Centre?s proposed Health Cluster for Future City, seeking Prime Minister Narendra Modi?s support if necessary.
The Chief Minister also announced that 500 acres within Future City would be reserved for public representatives, civil servants, and journalists.
